What a great way to spend a pretty Saturday morning! Whitesburg helped students get on the BALL by creating DIY stress balls/hackey sacks with balloons and beans. We explained that the balloons represented their brains, the beans were the knowledge, and the funnels that we used to transfer knowledge to the brains were our schools!
My favorite quote from the day:
Lady: Wow, what are you guys making?
3rd grader: It's metaphorically a brain but it's going to be my Barbie's bean bag!
Thanks for visiting our booth! And a special thank you to talented team of volunteers: Carrie Kimbel, Debbie Bennick, Julie Torok, and Pam Russo. Thanks to Anthony Jackson for being the muscle.
